Cisco has recently updated and revamped there Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Security track and has announced new courses and Exams. Please note that the old certification track will expire on April 22nd, 2014.

Cisco Learning redesigned the current offering and also introduce a new Cybersecurity Specialist Certification met to meet the need for today’s security demands. The new certification, Securing Cisco Networks with Threat Detection and Analysis (SCYBER) is designed for the professional security analyst that needs to focus on event monitoring, security events, alarms and traffic analysis as well as incident response.

Implementing Cisco Edge Network Security Solutions (SENSS) Exam: 300-206 SENSS
Implementing Cisco Threat Control Solutions (SITCS) Exam: 300-207 SITCS
Implementing Cisco Secure Access Solutions (SISAS) Exam: 300-208 SISAS
Implementing Cisco Secure Mobility Solutions (SIMOS) Exam: 300-209 SIMOS
The new Cybersecurity Course and Exam is:
Securing Cisco Networks w/ Threat Detection & Analysis (SCYBER) Exam: 600-199 SCYBER
